Contributing to research design, collation and evaluation on Advancing Research on Law in Earth Systems Governance. Initiative aims to integrate, advance and communicate state-of-the-art research on domestic and international environmental law and policy.
Harrison Grant Solicitors	February - May 2009	Advised on R (Hillingdon and others) v. Secretary of State for Transport [2010] EWHC 626. Undermined the Government's demonstration of national need to expand Heathrow airport (expressed in terms of economic and environmental cases) and methodologies by which this need was purportedly demonstrated [see also Publications, reference 13].
Global Commons Institute	2008	Analysis of grounds for judicial review arising from the Government's refusal to disclose the rationale for the calculation of domestic carbon dioxide emissions reductions figure in the Climate Change Bill.
Richard Buxton Solicitors	2007	Submission on constitutional and administrative legal concerns arising from developments in domestic mobile telecommunications law. Supported R (Harris) v First Secretary of State, Peterborough City Council and Hutchison 3G [2007] EWHC 1847 [see research reference 6].
Richard Buxton Solicitors and CAPRI	March - November 2006	Critique of National Grid's proposed Milford Haven to Tirley (Glos.) LNG pipeline and PRIs. Critique exposed flaws in NG's representations concerning: energy security and the national interest; its legal duties, demand/supply forecasting and risk, and environmental impact assessments Full documentation was submitted on behalf of CAPRI for a Public Inquiry, P0624/06/FUL and was used by Richard Buxton Solicitors in R (Ware) v. Neath Port Talbot Council and National Grid [2007] EWHC 913 [see research reference 14]
Alliance for Natural Health	2006	Analysis of European Court of Justice interpretive decision (C-154/04) on the legality of provisions in the 'Food Supplements Directive' (2002/46EC).
Adam Price MP	January 2005	Analysis of evidence in support of the impeachment of former Prime Minister, Tony Blair, for the parliamentary motion co-ordinated by Adam Price MP [see research reference 4].
Warwick District Council	2000-01	Environmental Consultant. Conducted a WDC-funded feasibility study for a consortium of research and environmental organisations into the ecological restoration of a medieval woodland.
Friends of the Earth Scotland, Edinburgh	1998	Policy analyst. Produced report on carbon sequestration proposals in forestry and land-use to mitigate climate change for delegates at the UNFCCC 4th Conference of the Parties, Buenos Aires [see research reference 21].
